Yes, as of April 1, 2024, the sale and possession of cannabis seeds are legal in Germany. Adults aged 18 and over are permitted to possess up to 25 grams of cannabis in public and up to 50 grams at home. Additionally, individuals can cultivate up to three cannabis plants per adult in their household.

It's important to note that while the sale of cannabis seeds is legal, the commercial sale of cannabis itself remains prohibited. Therefore, individuals interested in cultivating cannabis must either grow their own plants or join a registered cannabis social club. Consumption of cannabis is subject to certain restrictions, such as prohibitions within 100 meters of schools, kindergartens, public playgrounds, sports facilities, and pedestrian zones in city centers between 07:00 and 20:00.
